EDUCATION

The London Film Museum is the only museum of film history and film making in the UK. It has been created with the backing of major Studios, Distributors and Industry professionals.

For Teachers, the museum is extremely important. It can assist with the teaching of English, History, ICT, art, design and technology, music, film studies, maths, careers and can offer cross curricular opportunities for film making. It is suitable for all age and ability levels.

All groups of 15 people or more get a free Guide for a tour of the museum, but if you wanted a more structured workshop we can arrange a film making class with one of our qualified coaches.

As part of the visit there are a couple of additional workshops that students can take part in for an extra fee. Choose from either an Art Workshop with Huw-J, or a film making workshop around the museum. If you would like information on either of these extras then please ask our Education Manager when making your booking.

Alternatively please email schools@londonfilmmuseum.com

"Just a note to thank you, and all the staff especially our tour guide who was knowledgeable and kept the right pace with our students.
We had a great visit - even better than last year and liked the improvements especially the cafe area.
Excellent value for money and a fun morning too!"

Thank you for the lovely day we had at the London Film Museum. We had a nice time. I enjoyed myself very much.

I liked the dinosaur with a loud roar and the 3D cinema.

I liked all the Daleks and the pirates and the robot on the Ready Brek advert.

I liked looking at the costumes.
