Ray harryhausen - myths and legends exhibition

Entitled "Ray Harryhausen - Myths and Legends" - the exhibition focuses on the work of Ray Harryhausen and showcases the techniques he used to bring his Dynamation creatures to life.

The exhibition has been produced by Jonathan Sands, founder of the London Film Museum, and devised by Leslie Hardcastle, creator of the prizewinning Museum of the Moving Image (1989-1998)...

MADE IN DAGENHAM - MADE AT THE LONDON FILM MUSEUM
In the summer of 2009, new British film "Made in Dagenham" took over our cafe and used it for their parliamentary offices.
The film stars Sally Hawkins, as Rita O'Grady, as well as a host of other British actors, including Miranda Richardson, Bob Hoskins, Geraldine James, Rosamund Pike and Jaime Winstone.

The London Film Museum held a series of free film workshops for kids and the finished films are now available to watch.

Vanessa Smith created a skeletal dragon for her animation, and Jamie Gibbs told us a story of a domestic robot using lego.

New Cafe
at the London film museum
At the North East corner of the museum overlooking Jubilee gardens and Belvedere Road we have our cafe. Serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as cakes and sandwiches, you can take the weight off your feet and relax, but just make sure not to annoy the rhino. Don’t forget to say hello to Leonard and his pet dog Max as they can get quite lonely sometimes.
